Every week in July except July 15.

Why is journaling a valuable spiritual practice? And what’s the difference between journaling and keeping a diary?

As a skill for the inward journey, keeping a journal is crucial. It provides a place for your ongoing dialogue with God, in whatever form that takes: dreams, questions, images, arguments, prayers, even shadow encounters. If you have tried to keep a journal – and felt like a drop-out -- this class may be for you.

In four sessions, we will survey available resources, practice several different forms of journaling, deal with some of the difficulties, and offer an experience that may challenge your faith and deepen your spiritual life.

Contact Gail Arnall (gailarnall@gmail.com) to register.  Zoom address will be provided when you register.

Facilitator: Marjory Zoet Bankson, is a clay artist, author of several books and a seasoned spiritual guide. She was the President of Faith@Work, a national small-group ministry, and currently serves Church of the Saviour as Chair of the CoS Council.

This class will meet Thursday evenings, July 1, July 8, July 22, and July 29 from 7-8pm.  Note that we will not meet on July 15.

The class will also be offered to members of the Seekers' Church, so you will get to know some of their members as well.
