These are the scriptures from the Revised Common Lectionary for the 2015 - 2016 liturgical year. Teachers and preachers at our services frequently base their sermons on the appropriate scriptures. We use the Vanderbilt Divinity School website as our source. (Where Vanderbilt gives a choice, we use the readings that give a similar theme to each of the four readings for the week. There is another similar lectionary that gives the Old Testament scriptures in order of their appearance in the Old Testament. In addition, Some of the readings have been slightly modified to fit on the page.)
